George Garnett
George served in the army as a Sapper in the 1st World War, and in the Home Guard (photo above), as a Lieutenant in the 2nd World War.
In peace time he was a Gas Fitter.
Geoffrey Alan Garnett
During the second world war Geoff (centre in the photo) was stationed in Canada where he taught pilots to fly Hurricane fighters.
After the war Geoff became an Chartered Accountant. Other activities included the role of a Methodist lay preacher.
